Engines
Hydraulic motors are mechanisms by means of which hydraulic energy from a pressurized fluid is converted into mechanical power available through a drive shaft.
Its operation is therefore the reverse of that of hydraulic pumps and is the rotary equivalent of the hydraulic cylinder. The hydraulic motor is used mainly because it delivers very high torque at low rotational speeds compared to electric motors.
