fluid it moves, which can be liquid or a mixture of liquids and solids.  <\/p><p>Increasing the energy of the fluid increases its pressure, its velocity or its height, all of which are related.<\/p><p>They are used to increase the pressure of a fluid by adding energy to the hydraulic system to move the fluid from a lower pressure zone to a higher pressure
